Creative design opened up the front bedroom in this 1930s detached house transforming it into a dayroom with sleeping loft. Lots of natural light is a key feature, the upper level being lit by new rooflights and an arrow slit window.
The loft level is accessed by an alternating tread stair, and a door at the top level provides the owners with easy access into the rear attic, where a new twin coil cylinder provides solar heated hot water.
