Cambridge City Council ran a limited competition for the redesign of the public toilets on Parker’s Piece.

AC Architect’s submitted the only landscape inspired entry, raising the existing edge of the Piece to create a grassed amphitheatre and provide the city with the opportunity to develop a high profile earth sheltered building.

An exhibition of the entries was held in the Guildhall. An alternative design was selected for development.
