Rear Dormer
House Extension and Sustainable Refurbishment with Solar Panels
Cambridge
Extension and alterations to a late-Victorian/early Edwardian property in central Cambridge. The new design takes into account the property’s original features and looks to balance the effects of an earlier 1980s extension and alteration, which compromised the design and accessibility of the house. Internal alterations included mirroring the positioning of the staircase round to rationalise circulation and space.

Alterations also provided new solar thermal panels to the rear of the house, creating a sustainable solution to hot water supply.
