The sensitive design of this single storey extension to the sixth form college (highlighted as a building of local interest) improves staff facilities within the college by extending the existing WC area with a shower and changing room.

An exam preparation room, IT store and acoustically separated music room are all accessible via a ramp and raised walkway/ wheelchair route which sits at the edge of the newly landscaped car parking area. The materials and detailing of the new extension were carefully chosen and designed to complement the existing main building.
